Day (1) Yangon
Upon arrival to Yangon International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by a guide who will accompany you as your transfer to hotel in Yangon. Yangon is formerly known as Dagon, a garden city and always green and lush with tropical trees, shady parks. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes it one of the most fascinating cities in South-East Asia. Shwedagon Pagoda is the most wonderful landmark in Myanmar. Stay overnight in Yangon.
Day (2) Yangon – Bagan
Transfer to Yangon Airport for early morning flight to Bagan. Morning highlights – over two thousand buildings prove that Bagan was very prosperous. Bagan was once the capital city of Myanmar Dynasty. The beauty of Bagan is the best to see the sunrise and the sunset which can never be forgotten. Lacquer-ware is the appreciable art of Bagan. Stupas and temples are interesting such as Nyaung Oo market, Shwezigon pagoda, Wet Gyi Inn – Gubyaukgyi, Htilominlo and Khay Min Ga. Afternoon highlights: temples and pagodas – Mahayazika, Tharaba Gate, Soe Mingyi monastery, Nagayone, Apeyadana, Manuha, Nanpaya, Myingaba, and Local lacquer-ware workshop. Overnight in Bagan.
Day (3) Bagan
Morning tour highlights: temples and pagodas – Dhammayangyi, Thatbyinnyu and Ananda temple and monastery. Evening tour highlights: temples and pagodas – Sulamuni, Lemyethnar and Minnanthu monastery. Overnight in Bagan.
Day (4) Bagan – Mandalay
The Myanmar monarchs usually chose their capitals around Mandalay such as Inwa(Ava), Sagaing, Amarapura and Mandalay. Mandalay was the last capital of the Kongbaung Dynasty. You can see a good panoramic view from the Mandalay Hill. Mandalay is well known for its archaeological, environmental and historical sites. There, you can get a morning flight from Bagan to Mandalay. Morning tour highlights: Mahamuni pagoda, Marble Stone carving, Mandalay Palace. Afternoon tour highlights: Shwe Nan Daw monastery, Kutho Daw pagoda, Traditional silk weaving and handicrafts workshops, sunset at U Bein Bridge. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day (5) Mandalay – Heho – Pindaya – Inle Lake
Upon arrival to Heho airport which is the gate way to southern Shan State. It is situated over 3000 ft above sea level. The weather in Shan State is cool and studded with pine trees and eucalyptus. The guide will take you to Pindaya which is famous for its lime stone cave stocked with about 8095 Buddha Images. It is also famous for the beautiful lake called Botaloke Lake. Tour highlights: drive to Pindaya for having a look at the Pindaya cave, local handicrafts and proceed to Inle Lake. Overnight in Inle Lake.
Day (6) Inle Lake
Inle Lake is located on the Shan plateau over 3000 ft above sea level and it is famous for scenic beauty of the lake and leg rowers. The people who live on the lake since 18th century are called Inn Thar. The lake is gorgeous for its floating gardens and various kinds of vegetables. Full day excursion by boat on the lake is very pleasant to see the unique one legged rowers, Phaung Daw Oo pagoda, market and floating gardens, traditional weaving workshops and villages on the lake. Overnight in Inle Lake.
Day (7) Inle Lake –Heho – Yangon
In the morning, transfer from Heho airport to Yangon. Arrive Yangon and transfer to hotel. Tour highlights: Bokyoke Aung San market (Scott market), Sule pagoda, Chaukhtatgyi – the Reclining Buddha, Botataung pagoda, China town and fruits market and visit Shwedagon pagoda. Overnight in Yangon.
Day (8) Yangon
After having breakfast in the morning, check out from hotel and transfer to Yangon International Airport for the onward flight departure.
